Contact
One address reaches the person who maintains the site: hello@toolsbay.app. There is no ticketing system and no support tier behind it, which means replies are not instant — expect a few working days — but they come from the person who can actually change the code rather than from a script. Corrections to a tax rate, a contribution table or a formula get looked at first, because a wrong number on a calculator is the one kind of bug here that can cost somebody money. What follows is what to include so a fix does not need three rounds of questions, broken down by the kind of problem you are reporting.
Reporting a wrong number
This is the most valuable report and the easiest to act on. Include the page URL, the inputs you used, the result you got, and the result you expected — plus, if you have it, the source that says so: a circular, a contribution table, an agency page, a payslip that disagrees. How we build and check things lists the sources each statutory calculator is built from, so pointing at the row that changed is usually enough.
Rate changes are the common case. Statutory tables move at budget time and mid-year more often than you would think, and a correction that arrives with the effective date attached gets shipped much faster than one that does not.
Reporting a broken tool
Include the page URL, your browser and version, and what happened — including whether anything appeared in the browser console. If a file failed to convert, say what kind of file it was and roughly how large; you do not need to send the file, and it is better if you do not.
Because the tools run in your browser rather than on a server, failures are usually specific to a browser, a file quirk or an unusual size, which is exactly why those three details resolve most reports.
Privacy, advertising and everything else
Privacy questions, requests about data handling, and questions about what the ad network does are all covered in the privacy policy; if it does not answer yours, write and it will be answered directly and the policy updated if the gap is real.
For a problem with an advert — something inappropriate, misleading, or that broke the page — include the page URL and a screenshot if you can. Ads are served by a third-party network rather than chosen here, but they can be blocked once identified.
Press, partnership and advertising enquiries go to the same address. There is no separate media contact, because there is no media team.
